Welcome to JonBob's

If you're like us, you need your daily Packer fix. Whether it's a capsule of a just-signed undrafted free agent from Stillman College or an update on the competition for starting punter, your day just isn't complete without something GBP related. That's why there's almost nothing quite as frustrating as firing up the internet, scouring its every corner, and coming up empty handed. Or, perhaps even worse, going from site to site only to find that the beat writers and bloggers can only be bothered to rehash and repeat the same old, tired story you just read on NFL.com. That's where we come in.

Here at JonBob's, our intention is not to simply regurgitate the headline news from JSOnline or the team's official website. If that's all you're after, you could just go straight to those sites, cutting out the middle man. But if you're interested in in-depth analysis, unrestrained critiques, and well thought out speculation, this is the place for you. Each and every week, we'll be providing our own unique perspective on everything Green and Gold, from game recaps to player evaluations to potential personnel moves. You might not always think we're right, but at least we'll be interesting and informative.

Consider the above our mission statement, or even better, our contract with you, the reader. Of course, as with any agreement, there are responsibilities on both sides. We'll be providing you with insightful analysis and opinion. All we ask in return is for you to be an active and engaged reader. Call us out when you think we're wrong, offer your own take on an issue, and let us know when you think we actually might be on to something. Comment boxes certainly aren't there for aesthetics, so put them to use. And perhaps most importantly, if you like what we do, feel free to tell fellow Packer-backers about our site.

Alright, enough with the pleasantries. Training camp is only three weeks away, so we haven't got a moment to lose. Let's get to it.
